IN The Dunes Lodging is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Indiana Landmarks to preserve and share the iconic Cypress Log Cabin. Previously only accessible to the public during limited National Park tours, this historic gem will now be available for overnight stays. This historic home, one of the famed “Century of Progress” houses, and the only structured lodging offered inside of the Indiana Dunes National Park, will offer a truly unique opportunity for guests from around the world.
The Cypress Log Cabin
A historic National Landmark perched atop the dunes, overlooking Lake Michigan, with a wide sandy beach, sleeping space for 12, fire pit, gas grill, movie screening room, whole house sound system, Chicago skyline views, and more. The Cypress Log Cabin has been modernized for comfort, but meticulously restored & preserved.
