Lovely property with a great view

WE rented it for our family to get together for our 50th anniversary. Children and grandchildren all enjoyed the house and he beach. Great location!

Beautiful stay

We had a lovely stay - everything was clean and as expected. The location could not be more ideal and the property itself was amazing. Our children loved the theatre and arcade while I enjoyed relaxing taking in the lakeview and bird watching. I would love to come back!

We loved this house It has so much! We had a great view of the sunset, a great kitchen, a fantastic solarium and so much room if you had more people!

Fantastic rustic cabin right on the beach of Lake Michigan. For folks in the Midwest it’s a trip to beach on a budget. Very relaxing

Picture perfect place

This house in this location just seems too good to be true. The house is spacious and has some lovely updates, while also keeping a lot of historic charm. The view of Lake Michigan is phenomenal. Chicago is even visible on a clear day. Very easy to walk down to the beach or get to hiking trails through the woods.

Great Stay on Lake Michigan

What a fabulous place!! We really enjoyed staying in this historic home. Our only disappointments were 1) the twin bed bedroom was too cold to use & we were unable to adjust the heat in that area - but I believe they have now fixed those problems 2) the theater’s surround sound didn’t work 3) the pinball machines didn’t work. But overall, our experience there was absolutely wonderful. We loved it!!

Great Place!

The Cypress Cabin is an absolute must for anyone looking for a great beach front location with a National Park Lodge feel. The property is well maintains, true to the photos and fantastic views in all directions. We were only a little disappointed that during our stay the pinball machines did not work (we had kids with us) and the steam shower didn’t function, but it did not keep us from having a great time. If these are not functional, they should be removed from the description as it is misleading. Still, we highly recommend this spot to friends and family...absolutely great place...and historic!

Cypress House Retreat

Wow! This house is unique in its own right, and the view is absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place to gather and relax. The location is perfect...so many things to do within a 15 min drive of the house.
